EFAP NYC students visiting Brooklyn Fashion Incubator
The specialized MBA in Luxury Communication & Strategies students met with Maria Barazza, the Executive Director of
the Brooklyn Fashion Incubator, a non-profit which mentors young businesses seeking to succeed in the U.S. Fashion Market. The encounter took place in a co-working space on the Williamsburg waterfront, an influential hub for culture, arts, and start-ups.
The conversation took a casual format and focused on the role of an incubator in securing a path to business and brand growth and maintaining leadership in NYC’s fashion industry.
Tim Ceci, an expert in brand development, visual merchandising and marketing in the luxury sector joined the group. He has held various leadership positions that steered the course of some of the best of the best - Céline (LVMH), Barney's NY, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom – and shared insights and perspectives on the retail industry. He also spoke at length about new and emerging luxury fashion brands and trends.
A day rich in learning for our students who are destined for a career in luxury.
