of the Bachelor’s at EFAP

Admission is based on online selection tests and an individual motivation interview.

Admission to Year 1 of the Bachelor’s is open to students in their final year of secondary school (currently completing their Baccalaureate) or those who already hold a Baccalaureate, regardless of their stream or specialisation.

Preparing for the selection tests:

Selection tests require preparation, but this is not the same as traditional exam revision: it is more about developing the right habits than following a set syllabus.

• Current affairs, general knowledge and English: one approach to preparation. The three areas covered in the first multiple-choice test should not be revised separately: they complement and reinforce one another.
• Keep up with current affairs in the months leading up to the selection tests: politics, economics, culture, sport and geopolitics.
• Explore the topics that interest you in greater depth. An election, a conflict or a film release always has a history, a geographical context and cultural references behind it. That is what general knowledge is all about.
• Do the same in English. English-language newspapers, podcasts and videos cover the same topics, allowing you to work on both areas at once. You should also review the basic rules of grammar. The expected level is that of a final-year secondary school student.
• The world of communication. Paying attention to campaigns, brands and media, and thinking about how they work, directly prepares you for the second multiple-choice test. No academic knowledge is expected: we are looking for candidates who already approach communication with curiosity.
• Past papers. Selection tests from previous sessions are available to view freely on our website.
• EFAP support. Open Days, preparation webinars and one-to-one appointments with the Admissions team: we help you prepare through live sessions.

The interview accounts for 70% of your final score. The multiple-choice tests provide an initial insight into your curiosity and awareness of current affairs; ultimately, your motivation, personality and career goals are what determine the decision.
