Candidate profiles

Applicants must be currently enrolled in their first year of college (L1 at university, first year of a communications or business school, first year of an IUT, first year of a BTS...) or have already validated their first year (60 ECTS obtained). For candidates currently enrolled in their first year of college, final registration at EFAP, the school of Communication Professions, will only be effective once their first year of higher education has been validated by 60 ECTS.

If you live in mainland France

The EFAP entrance exam takes place in two stages:

If you live outside mainland France

Admissions are based on two criteria:

All applications from students living outside mainland France are made exclusively via the school's website.

In the "chosen exam date" field, they must also select: International Procedure.

Writing

Candidates can choose between an Essay OR a Creativity test.
For this test, students must pay particular attention to syntax, grammar and conjugation rules, and master argumentative techniques.

The Current Affairs and General Knowledge test

This is a questionnaire designed to test your knowledge of current affairs and general culture (economic, political, sporting, cultural, historical, geopolitical, etc.).
The questionnaire comprises around forty open-ended or multiple-choice questions.

English

The English test includes:

  • around 40 multiple-choice questions on grammar and conjugations
  • a 220-word essay in English (10% tolerance level)

 

The oral test

Motivation and personality interview 20mn Coef 4

This is a 20-minute motivational and personality interview with a member of the teaching or admissions team.

The interview is divided into three parts:

Candidate presentation

Motivation: the candidate explains why he or she wishes to join the school, his or her career choices, his or her knowledge of the business sector, and the reasons why the school should accept the candidate's application.

Interests, passions, travels, extracurricular activities, etc.

From the comfort of your own home, our admissions team will introduce you to the EFAP program, advise you and prepare you to succeed in the written and oral exams. The entrance exam is open to all students in their final year of high school (all streams), and the first two years of college. It is a national competitive entrance exam.

The application fee of 100 euros covers the cost of examinations and the creation of a file.

No refunds will be made for absences or cancellations received less than 7 days before the competition date.
