The school

A school of communication open to everyone

EFAP, an independent communications school at the service of its students

EFAP is a private institution of higher education, and its business model is extremely simple and transparent: 100 % of the school's revenue comes from tuition fees paid by students and their families. For over 60 years, this model has guaranteed our total independence. EFAP answers only to its students, for whom it has a long-term commitment. Every year, the school generates its own resources, the financial surplus of which is invested entirely in the student experience, including: quality and continuous development of programs, prestigious partnerships, international experience, quality of premises and equipment, and professional integration.

Supportive and inclusive

True to its historic values of humanism and solidarity, the EFAP School of Communication is committed to welcoming students from a wide variety of backgrounds. However, some of these students may have difficulties in gaining access to higher education. EFAP is keen to include as many students as possible, and offers support and assistance to students with such difficulties.

Committed to projects with a strong societal impact

EFAP is committed to projects with a strong societal impact, and encourages and supports all initiatives in this direction on the part of its students and teachers. Every year, for example, the school welcomes a new class of start-ups supported by L'Escalator, a social incubator launched by Maurice Lévy - then Chairman of the Board of Publicis Groupe - to help entrepreneurs with neither means nor connections. The class of 2024, made up of 24 entrepreneurs, will thus benefit from free workshops led by EFAP experts and "learn by doing", through workshops and thematic coaching, specific to each start-up. EFAP also offers mentoring over 6 to 12 months.

Another example, among many others, is the organization by student members of the EFAP School of Communication's humanitarian office of charity sales, collections and distribution of basic necessities for underprivileged populations, in partnership with well-known associations such as Aïda, which is committed to helping hospitalized children. Similarly, EFAP students regularly put their talents to work to raise awareness of national causes such as Breast Cancer Awareness, by organizing exchanges with professionals and exhibiting their work created especially for and in connection with the cause.

Financing your education

Many students benefit from financial aid schemes to help them finance their studies at EFAP:

  • Financial aid: EFAP's internal Solidarity Commission can grant financial aid (in the form of reduced tuition fees) to students facing personal and financial difficulties.
  • Spread payments: tuition payments can be spread between one and eight payments.
  • Bank loans: thanks to a partnership with BNP Paribas, eligible students can benefit from a welcome offer and loans at preferential rates.
  • Volunteering: students volunteering for Civic Service in France or in the EU can apply to the Institut de l'Engagement for funding of 100% of tuition fees for a full course at EFAP.
  • Sibling discount: EFAP has also introduced a "sibling discount" with reduced tuition fees when a second member of the same family enrolls.

Find housing with peace of mind

We help our communication studies students find accommodation close to campus at affordable rates. In some cities, students may also be eligible for aid from local authorities based on social criteria.

Healthy eating made easy

Thanks to their student card, our students can enjoy healthy, low-cost meals at the CROUS university restaurant closest to their campus.

Access to international opportunity

Eligible EFAP students can access an Erasmus+ grant to study in Europe. The amount ranges from €225 to €824 per month, depending on the type of mobility and the country of destination. In addition, depending on certain criteria, there are "inclusion" and "ecological transition" supplements. There are also regional grants for international mobility, through partnerships with the PACA, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions.

Build your career plan while financing your studies

Over the course of a complete curriculum, our students complete a total of 21 months of paid internships. What's more, 7 MBAs specializing in Communications are available on a work-study basis (fifth year), enabling students to enrich their career path while earning a salary, and obtain funding for their tuition fees from the employer's OPCO (skills operator).

Taking care of your mental health and well-being

The EFAP School of Communication and Marketing is committed to the health and well-being of its students. We accompany and guide students who feel they need it towards adapted psychological support that is financially and geographically accessible. In emergencies, we put them in touch with a dedicated partner psychologist. EFAP has put in place a system to combat discrimination and all forms of violence, including Sexual Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), through preventive actions (codes of conduct for students and lecturers, training and guides dedicated to risk prevention, etc.), an internal reporting process and an Ethics Alert specialist.

Benefit from enhanced support

On each of our campuses, a Disability Services coordinator is the first point of contact for students who need to adapt their learning or examination methods, or who require special support when looking for internships.
