L'EFAP & le Festival de Cannes : Un partenariat historique
Si les étudiants de l’EFAP ont le privilège chaque année de vivre le festival au côté des plus grands professionnels de la communication et du cinéma, c’est grâce à l’énergie et la vision de deux hommes : Denis Huisman, fondateur de l’EFAP en 1961 et Georges Huisman, son père, l'un des créateurs du Festival de Cannes en 1939. Une plaque lui rend hommage dans l’atrium du Palais des Festivals.

En 1946, Georges Huisman, nommé Président du jury du Festival, remet le prix d’interprétation à Michèle Morgan pour son rôle de Gertrude dans le film "La symphonie pastorale" de Jean Delannoy.
