EFAP, Partner of a Startup Incubator Launched by Maurice Lévy
EFAP is a key partner of L’ESCALATOR, the new talent incubator open to candidates ready to embark on the entrepreneurial journey.
Maurice Lévy, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Publicis Groupe and patron of the 2018 class of the EFAP School of Communication, announced the launch of L’ESCALATOR, an incubator that enables anyone who lacks financial resources or networks—but has ideas and strong motivation—to embark on the entrepreneurial journey!
L’ESCALATOR provides access to entrepreneurship for all and offers human, technological and financial resources, as well as dedicated facilities to welcome and train the startup founders of tomorrow.
Participants are welcomed and hosted in nearly 1,000 m² of space in Levallois-Perret, where they can meet, exchange ideas, receive coaching and gain insight into the startup ecosystem.
L’ESCALATOR supports these aspiring entrepreneurs in validating the viability of their projects, structuring their business models, and building their commercial and communication strategies. It also helps them establish decisive connections with experts and partners.
The EFAP School of Communication has decided to support and fully engage in this initiative led by Maurice Lévy, alongside strategic partners such as L’Oréal, Total, Prodware, Microsoft, McDonald’s, the Decaux family, LVMH, BNP Paribas, Laurent Dassault, Google, Publicis Groupe and Orange.
EFAP has committed to opening its networks to L’ESCALATOR: more than 1,000 professional instructors working in communication, marketing and entrepreneurship, dedicated teaching teams, as well as its powerful network of 25,000 EFAP alumni currently working in companies. Most importantly, the EFAP School of Communication has set up a dedicated team of professional instructors who will take part in selecting the incubated projects and will coach the teams, providing expertise in marketing, communication and digital fields—resources they would not have had access to without the support of L’ESCALATOR.
“L’ESCALATOR is a project of great social and economic value that focuses on an area particularly meaningful for EFAP and its students: entrepreneurship. We fully support this pragmatic and ambitious initiative which, without charity or assistance, aims to encourage and concretely help those who show creativity, ambition and determination to overcome often modest circumstances. Fighting inequality and discrimination through innovation and the creation of businesses is the vision that unites EFAP and L’ESCALATOR!”, says Amin KHIARI, President of Groupe EDH.
