Mid-Year Intake in 1st Year at EFAP: Switch Your Academic Path Without Losing a Year!
Have you started a first-year program but want to switch your academic path without losing a year? Join us in January 2026 and complete EFAP’s first-year curriculum in just six months!
A new direction, without waiting for September
Every year, many students realize along the way that their current program does not align with their expectations or career goals. Instead of waiting for the next academic year and losing valuable months, it is possible to change direction immediately. This is precisely the purpose of the February intake into the 1st year at EFAP, which allows students to redirect their studies starting in January 2026 and join a renowned communication school without interrupting their academic journey.
Designed for students seeking a fresh start, this option offers the opportunity to join EFAP mid-year while benefiting from a full curriculum identical to the one followed by students who entered in September, but adapted to the new schedule: a more intensive pace, shorter holiday periods, and an extended summer internship to strengthen skills. After this accelerated year—and subject to earning the required 60 ECTS credits—students naturally move on to the 2nd year of the regular curriculum.
An educational approach designed for a successful reorientation
The February intake offers an immersive, hands-on teaching approach, focused on practice: workshops, group projects, professional modules… Students quickly acquire the fundamentals of communication and gain confidence. Thanks to an adapted and intensive program, they progressively catch up on essential skills and can continue the curriculum normally the following September.
The program highlights the major fields of communication: integrated communication, content creation, digital culture, media relations, event management… A wide range of subjects that help students confirm their interest in the sector and build a solid professional path.
Professional opportunities from the very first year
Like all EFAP students, those joining through the February intake complete a compulsory internship at the end of the year—a valuable stepping stone to gaining practical experience and entering the professional world. This early immersion is a real advantage: it helps students build experience, strengthen their resume, and sometimes even secure their first professional collaboration.
Full integration into campus life
Despite the adjusted academic calendar, students from the February intake fully participate in EFAP’s campus life: events, professional conferences, student associations, Alumni meetings… They join an engaged and supportive community that accompanies them throughout their journey.
In short: why choose EFAP’s February intake?
Joining EFAP through the February intake means giving your academic plan a second chance without losing a year. Each year, many students discover that their initial university program does not match their expectations or ambitions. The February intake allows them to quickly change course and enroll in a professionalizing program as early as January.
At EFAP, this option is designed to welcome students in the best possible conditions: personalized support, close academic follow-up, and progressive integration within existing cohorts. Courses are adapted to the second-semester rhythm while ensuring the same academic quality as the September entry.
"I chose EFAP’s February intake because it was very important for me not to lose a year."
The February intake is available on our campuses in Paris, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Toulouse, Montpellier, Nice, Strasbourg, Aix-en-Provence and Rennes!
