Changing Paths Is Possible! Join EFAP Through Parallel Admissions
Are you rethinking your academic journey? Does your current program no longer feel like the right fit, or are you dreaming of a career in the world of communication? Good news: EFAP welcomes students from all backgrounds through its parallel admissions pathway
Rethinking Your Studies
Today, more and more students decide to change direction after their first year of university, a BTS, a bachelor’s degree, or even a master’s. Whether it’s a desire for a more meaningful education, a clearer career path, or simply the need for a fresh start, it’s never too late to make a change.
Thanks to parallel admissions, EFAP allows motivated students to join the school in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th year, depending on their academic background and professional goals.
That was the case for Amélie, now in her 4th year at EFAP Lyon:
“At first, I wanted to go into a completely different field. But I was looking for something more creative, more dynamic, and that’s how I discovered EFAP’s parallel admissions.”

A Simple and Accessible Admission Process
EFAP organizes several admission sessions throughout the year to welcome new student profiles.
For entry into the 2nd or 3rd year, the process is fully online:
A written assessment (logic, writing, communication culture)
An oral interview via video call
Online prep sessions and past exam papers are available to help you get ready with confidence.
For direct admission into the 4th or 5th year, simply submit a complete application including:
Your academic background and diplomas
Your professional experiences
Your key skills
Your career goals
You don’t need a “standard” profile to succeed!
Diverse Backgrounds, One Common Goal
Every year, EFAP welcomes students from a variety of academic paths through parallel admissions: from literature, law, arts, marketing, or those undergoing a full career change.
“My past experiences help me bring a different perspective,” adds Amélie. “As soon as I arrived at EFAP, I was immersed in hands-on projects : organizing events, building communication strategies, and producing a talk show.”
By joining EFAP, you benefit from:
A career-oriented education aligned with today’s and tomorrow’s communication jobs
Regular internships in agencies, media outlets, companies, and institutions
Practical projects, workshops, and connections with industry professionals
And above all, a real skills boost: strategy, creativity, digital, PR, events, influence…
“I’m currently managing communication for the INSA 24h Festival,” Amélie shares. “And starting in February, I’ll begin my internship as Marketing & Communication Coordinator at Porsche Annecy. Changing paths was the best decision I ever made.”
