En tant que Directeur du Marketing International de Pathé Films, Benoit Sauvage est présent au Festival de Cannes pour défendre "un line up c'est-à-dire un ensemble de films [...] 12 films cette année dont 2 sont selectionnés sur des sélections majeures". L'objectif de Pathé Films est "de vendre les films à des distributeurs étrangers pour que le cinéma Français s'exporte dans le monde entier. Le cinéma Français pas forcément ça peut être le cinéma produit par Pathé Films" explique Benoit.
Le Festival de Cannes représente le rendez-vous incontournable de tous les professionnels de l'industrie du cinéma : producteurs, réalisateurs, distributeurs et acteurs du monde entier se déplacent à Cannes. Cela représente donc une opportunité de faire avancer des projets grâce à de nombreuses rencontres.
"Cannes c'est simple, c'est le plus gros marché mondial du film. Si chaque marché est différent à l'international, Cannes est un immanquable."
