Key features

During the last decades, new technologies have transformed the way the fashion sector communicates with its clients, as well as its means of production and distribution. In this context of transition and democratization, the global marketplace became increasingly more accessible for small and large brands and students who have a global sensitivity and awareness are at a distinctive advantage. Embracing this cross-cultural perspective, we have developed a program between two leading institutions of higher learning, EFAP Paris and New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).

An international perspective: 100% of courses in English and a systematically global and multicultural approach to strategic issues in communication & marketing in the fashion industry.

Immersive teaching: our participants are immersed in a business-based environment, working on relevant case studies that have immediate applicability to real world challenges, attending guest-speakers series, and site visits.

Program

This Double Diploma in Fashion Industries is the first course dedicated to fashion communication through both traditional and new digital media platforms.

Phase one: EFAP Paris, September - December (15 ECTS to validate)

Phase 2: NYIT New York: January - August (18 US credits + 9 ECTS to validate - EFAP guided project)

Phase three: Optional Practical Training

Opportunity to do an Optional Practical Training in the US (up to 12 months)

Students will receive from each institution:
› A Specialized MBA in Communication in Fashion Industries from EFAP Paris
› An Advanced Certificate in Marketing (MBA level) from NYIT’s School of Management (AACSB accredited)

Admission Conditions

To be eligible, applicants must have :

A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a foreign accredited university or school (Bac + 4)

Admission Process

The admission process for the Specialized MBA in Communication in Fashion Industries at EFAP Paris happens in two stages:

Eligibility : applications are first screened by the applicant eligibility panel
Acceptance : Interview session with the Director of the program at EFAP Paris

The admission process for the Advanced Certificate in Marketing at NYIT New York, School of Management requires the following:

Completion of 15 ECTS from October to December at EFAP PARIS
An undergraduate GPA of 3.0/4 or higher (13/20)
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 80 or higher for the Internet based test or DUOLINGO score of 105 or higher (internet based)
No GMAT necessary
Interview session with the Director of EFAP New York (via Skype/Zoom)
