A Real-World Week of Influence at VivaTech
As part of theWeek of Influence, EFAP students experienced a hands-on immersion at the heart of the new technology ecosystem during theVivaTech trade show. This educational outing allowed them to explore the challenges of innovation communication while developing their professional culture and understanding of current technological trends.
Getting Inspired, Networking and Looking Ahead at VivaTech
At the event, students were unanimous in their feedback:VivaTech is an exceptional source of inspiration. From demonstrations of robots designed to support children with autism, to discussions with passionate entrepreneurs and presentations of forward-thinking projects, EFAP students were able to combine personal curiosity with professional reflection.
"We discovered many of the technologies behind products we use every day, and thanks to that I may have found my internship in a company that develops robots to help children with autism or hospitalized children."
Beyond the sense of discovery, networking was also at the heart of the experience. For many students, these interactions with industry professionals opened up concrete opportunities:meeting recruiters, exchanging business cards, discussing market trends…
"What’s great about the VivaTech event, from a professional perspective, is that it allows you to build connections and meet people you might be able to contact later when looking for an internship."
Understanding the Codes of Tomorrow’s Communication
Studying at EFAP means learning how to promote ideas, projects and brands. By attending start-up pitches and observing how entrepreneurs present and promote their innovations, our students experienced a real-life lesson in communication.
"As a student at the EFAP School of Communication, we learn how to present projects, ideas and brands. Seeing professionals do this live—promoting themselves and presenting their projects with conviction—was truly enriching. It gives us a concrete perspective on how to showcase a project. And it’s incredibly motivating, because when you see people doing it well, it makes you want to do the same."
